Jonna and Mumuni formed a lifelong friendship and global partnership, J&M Farms, a hog farm that helps to sustain Mumuni and his family in Africa.

The Smith Farm is now home to 13 rescue animals including donkeys, goats, dogs & cats

Jonna met Benedicta on her first trip to Ghana where an instant bond was formed. She has been sponsoring her care for 10+ years and the two communicate regularly.

Passion.

Peoplezest was created out of Jonna’s passion. Through her own career pursuits in the multifamily industry she found her love of recruiting and career guidance. From that, peoplezest was formed in 2003. Since then, Jonna and her team have placed over 500 candidates in their own career trajectories. When you find your passion the work becomes natural .

Kindness.

From the beginning, kindness has been one of the founding pillars of the company. More than a marketing word, kindness is a thread woven into the day to day operations of peoplezest. Live, serve, and do business by the golden rule, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Belief.

Belief is the foundation of our pillars. Belief holds many meanings. The belief that your actions are just, belief that your passion is sincere, belief in family and that which drives you. Belief for Jonna is in her Christian faith. Through this, Jonna is called to serve by giving her time to communities that are close to her heart. In 2010, after her first of many trips to Ghana, W. Africa, she began her ongoing outreach program with its community. She also spends time serving her local community in Oklahoma by volunteering as a vet tech and as a licensed EMT provider. The Smith farm, where she lives, is a haven for many animals. Some purchased, but many to live out their life with love and green grass.
