It’s hard to believe twenty years have passed by since I first started peoplezest!

March marks the 20th anniversary of peoplezest as an executive recruiting company. There are so many moments to celebrate: past, present and future. First though, we thought it would be fun to have the owner, Jonna, answer a few questions about herself!

Like many of you, the beginning of the year for peoplezest is about reflection, growth and priorities. It is a time to look back on last year and review what worked, what didn’t, and how that can intentionally transition into progression for this year. As part of this process, I like to take the time to come up with what my word of the year will be.

As Christmas weekend approaches and 2022 winds down, I like to pause amongst the hustle and bustle and reflect on the last 12 months. This year has seen many moments of success and joy, a few heartaches, and some not so great moments. 

November is a special month of gratitude and giving. It is so nice to be able to take the time to enjoy being with our loved ones and eat all the delicious food that the Thanksgiving holiday offers as we give thanks for our blessings.

The hiring process is a relationship, and the more it is fostered the better the outcome.
