Careers are long and a lot of “life” happens during that time. While I am a firm believer in making things happen for yourself—there are peaks and valleys in every journey. Peoplezest has worked hard to create a safe place for candidates to talk to us about their own bumps in the road and how to navigate and turn it into a strength in an interview.
I am often asked what has kept peoplezest going, what has made it successful? One of my top answers is always—relationships.
We can all get so busy with everyday life that we forget to take a moment to think about our life and career goals. Do you ever stop and ponder about the possibility of a career move or where you would like to be long-term? Even if you are content in your current role, it never hurts to think about and be prepared for the future and have a plan.
It’s hard to believe twenty years have passed by since I first started peoplezest!
March marks the 20th anniversary of peoplezest as an executive recruiting company. There are so many moments to celebrate: past, present and future. First though, we thought it would be fun to have the owner, Jonna, answer a few questions about herself!
Like many of you, the beginning of the year for peoplezest is about reflection, growth and priorities. It is a time to look back on last year and review what worked, what didn’t, and how that can intentionally transition into progression for this year. As part of this process, I like to take the time to come up with what my word of the year will be.
